Ramp Nearly Doubles Its Valuation to $13B

Hey FinTech Fanatic!

The FinTech rebound continues, and Ramp is the latest name to capture the momentum. The corporate payments startup has nearly doubled its valuation to $13 billion, up from $7.65 billion last April, as investors bet on its expanding role in business financial management. The rise comes as FinTech firms recover from a period of tightened spending, signaling renewed confidence in the sector.

A secondary share sale led by GIC, Thrive Capital, Stripe, and others allowed employees to cash out $150 million in stock. Ramp’s backers already include VCs like Sequoia and Founders Fund. Meanwhile, annualized revenue has climbed to $700 million—more than double what it was just six months ago.

Ramp attributes much of its growth to the deeper integration of AI across its platform. “It is not possible to use Ramp without using AI,” said co-founder and CEO Eric Glyman, emphasizing how automation is reshaping financial operations. Processing $55 billion in annualized payments, the company aims to evolve beyond expense management into a full-scale financial platform.

With investors increasingly comparing Ramp’s trajectory to Stripe, its next move will be closely watched.
