A few year's back, my wife and I bought a little piece of a forest, and I became obsessed with the idea of building my own home. I have always been pretty handy, and frugal and have enough common sense that I can see things through and get them done DYI. I landed on the idea of Rammed Earth, a truly natural build, that will allow me to much of the build myself.
