The Rambling Mind

The Rambling Mind

We had the first session of The Rambling Mind tonight.

It's a new idea I'm playing with.

It's all about embracing rambling, as in rambling words and thoughts, and not apologising for not always being clear and succinct, and not always having to know exactly what the answer is.

I noticed that most of my 121 coaching / mentoring calls start with a good ramble, but then my coachee would apologise 'sorry, I'm rambling'. But its in the ramble that the magic lies. So ramble away...

And then that thought led me to my next idea, to be The Rambling Coach, where you come with me on a ramble, as in walking, hiking, rambling, in the Lake District where I live. And we ramble it out together.

But then lockdown happened, again.

So The Rambling Mind happened. An online ramble, demonstrating the magic of just being allowed to ramble. And the first very appropriate topic was Rantics...

So what did we discover in our ramble about ranting...

1. That ranting can be a healthy thing to do, but it comes with a few Health Warnings

2. That there might be a need for some Rant Retreats and Rant Therapy in the coming weeks

3. That when people RANT on social media it could be their way of releasing energy, or it could be a very clever marketing play

4. That cauliflower is actually a manmade plant!

5. That we all have a little bit of Niffler in us

And that is the power of rambling...

Join us every Tuesday at 5pm GMT and 12pm EST
