This Ramazan, Spreading Smiles with IHHN
The Indus Hospital
The Indus Hospital & Health Network offers free, quality healthcare across Pakistan.
Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) is once again launching Meer-e-Karwan Hum Hain, Pakistan’s largest youth-led Ramazan campaign. Spearheaded by IHHN’s Indus Yaqeen program, this campaign aims to garner support and raise funds to benefit patients in need across IHHN’s nationwide network of health facilities.
During the campaign, youth volunteers from all corners of Pakistan are empowered to advocate for IHHN’s mission of providing respectful and dignified care to patients. With over 70% of patients at Indus Hospital’s Korangi Campus being eligible for Zakat, this Ramazan presents an opportunity for the youth to actively contribute towards IHHN’s goal of providing free-of-cost, high-quality healthcare to all by volunteering at IHHN.
As a steadfast provider of holistic care, IHHN addresses not only the physical health but also the mental, social, and economic needs of its patients and their families. In addition to medical treatment, IHHN offers a range of supportive services, including ongoing mental health support, community engagement sessions to raise awareness about preventable illnesses, free meals and accommodation for out-of-town patients, and vocational classes to empower individuals to become self-reliant. These are just a fraction of ways IHHN is going beyond its duties as a healthcare provider, and is actively working to uplift individuals and create healthier, economically stable societies.

Indus Yaqeen is mobilizing youth volunteers, including students from grade school to university level, to take proactive steps in supporting underprivileged communities served by IHHN. This includes distributing awareness messages door-to-door, organizing fundraising activities to collect Zakat and Sadaqa for patients, leveraging various media platforms to spread messages of support and generosity, and spending quality time with patients.
At IHHN, we believe in the power of multi-sectoral partnerships to drive positive change. Recently, we collaborated with Unilever to organize several exciting and fun-filled activities for our pediatric patients who are unable to participate in external Ramazan festivities due to their health conditions. Yesterday, over 100 children at Indus Hospital, Korangi Campus enjoyed colorful pottery making and painting activities, followed by a delightful feast of noodles and snacks. The occasion brought smiles to their faces and creating a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and cheer emanating from the children, their caregivers, and volunteers who showed up to help make the event a success.
We invite you to join us in our mission to creating healthier and happier families. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference.
