Ramadan volunteer opportunities 2018

We have had responses to our Ramadan volunteer opportunities. As of now, our Ramadan basket project is closed with an overwhelming response from sisters who have made them to be delivered the first week of Ramadan, In sha' Allah to many families in need of them. The projects that we can still use help with are:

sisters who can help cook iftar meals for families that will need the meals because they can't cook due to illness and/or any emergency situation (unable to get to their local masjids for iftars or lack of transportation, etc.....)---if ANYONE Wishes to cook we need to know at least ONE day in advance and also what you wish to cook for how many people---please email me at [email protected] about this;

we are also collecting NEW or LIKE NEW clothing for the EID for children (our greatest requests)----boys and girls and teens needing shalwar khameez, kufis, hijabs, thobes for the EID and some for men. NO used, older clothes are being accepted, the clothes preferably need to be NEW or barely used---contact me at [email protected] if you have clothes such at these in particular for children;

EID toy drive---we have some people that are working with this project, however, we can still use more toys, and gifts for children ages 1-17 and gift cards for teens for the EID toy drive. If you wish to donate NEW toys or gift cards, please contact us at [email protected] and we will pick up what you would like to donate (NO older toys, no used toys) gifts must be new;

Ramadan food drive-throughout Ramadan we will be collecting food items (both non perishable and perishable) for families-new families that request food, etc...
