Here are some of the guidelines to be mindful of during Ramadan in the UAE:
* Fasting: Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, and smoking from dawn to dusk. Out of respect, non-Muslims should avoid eating, drinking, or smoking in public during these times.
* Dress modestly: It is recommended to dress modestly in public places throughout the year, but especially during Ramadan. This means covering your shoulders and knees with loose-fitting clothing.
* Be mindful of public behavior: Avoid loud noises, public displays of affection, and any kind of disruptive behavior.
* Respectful workplace: Companies are required to provide a space for employees to eat and drink during daylight hours.
These are just a few of the things to keep in mind during Ramadan in the UAE. By following these guidelines, you can show respect for the holy month and the Muslim community.
