The Great Resignation is really Americans showing new signs of life as people of Courageous Imagination! That’s what we are out to map, measure, and make real.
Through Creativity America , we are connecting a network of scholars, entrepreneurs, scientists, policy makers, artists and creative innovators of all kinds with a singular goal. Namely, to collect,?interpret, and communicate data sets that can actually help businesses deepen their cultural intelligence and increase their culture return on investment. We do this by centering our work on the human experiences that research shows enable people to work, learn, heal and explore together.??
This Courageous Imagination newsletter will cut through the noise to deliver you transformational insights being uncovered through Imaginator Academy. This includes our ongoing Workforce Census of Creativity & Belonging, the upcoming Imaginator Summit (October 13-14, 2022 in Denver, CO), and research insights presented in a straightforward way directly from the researcher who did the work. We work directly with researchers in management, organizational psychology, humanities, social sciences, innovation, neuroscience, economics, arts, and so much more. For you, our goal is to bring them together in ways that make sense and make a difference.
Each newsletter will be efficient. Always containing three core areas within which we will organize the information:
Culture Analytics
Our data-supported approach uses scientific methods to visualize where there are hidden opportunities to improve workforce wellbeing and emerging opportunities to foster inclusive innovation.
Creativity ID
We get it. Creativity can feel threatening to some. But, creativity is only dangerous if you don’t know how to use it. We are experts at ciphering through the noise to identify creativity that is likely to become new cultural and economic value.
Future Casting
While nobody can predict the future, our work is evidence-based and defensible. We translate a broad range of research and creative work into customized coaching to equip diverse leaders and learners alike with the skills they need to create future-focused strategies of Courageous Imagination.

The Human Side of the Future of Work
Courageous Imagination centers on developing a deeper understanding of the human experiences that shape culture. This includes the art and science of inclusion, equity, hope, trust, belonging, creativity, compassion, sense of awe, well-being, and curiosity.
Raising Up Courageous Imagination is key to future-proofing talent. That's why we are excited to call Metro Denver our base camp! Partnerships with Metro Denver EDC , thought-leading companies, and global initiatives like the Brain Capital Alliance will help us move quickly and get beyond "theory" to put things in motion.
The Journey Ahead
Courage* is the sum of those small, hard choices a person or organization makes each day in striving to live the best story they can tell. A story that may even be a little scary because it liberates the power within us. Through the wilds of untouched life, courage calls our hearts to freedom.
All human knowledge begins as Imagination*. It is a precursor to creativity and the operating system of humanity. Imagination makes possible all our thinking about the past, present, and future. Imagination is critical for expanding our human experience to bring forth new value.?
In today’s world, movements spring up around ideas that are simultaneously social, economic, and tech-enabled. These are the defining elements of our contemporary economic culture. This newsletter will help leaders and learners navigate these shifting cultural landscapes through actionable, evidence-based insights.
Creating culture metrics that matter is critical for unlocking human potential. I hope that you’ll contribute a few minutes to complete the Workforce Census on Creativity & Belonging. The data we collect and analyze will shape our work and process moving forward, and we hope you’ll participate in the journey with us!??
