Lately I have found myself writing funding requests and pitching for capital a lot more than I have done in decades. The last three years have not been easy due to the pandemic and its attendant effects. Recovery has been slow and for those with shallow pockets, closing down has been the only way forward. So it is that I started pitching for capital for myself and those close to me. The following is a step-by-step guide on how it’s done in case you find yourself in my shoes and need cash to keep going
A pitch deck is a visual presentation that provides an overview of your business or idea. It's typically used to introduce a business or product to potential investors, partners, or customers. Here are some key elements that you should include in your pitch deck:

It's also worth mentioning that, there is no one-size-fits-all template for a pitch deck, but including the above elements will give a good structure and information that investors or other parties would like to see.
