Raise your words not your voice

Raise your words not your voice

It depends on what the issue is. If it is a local issue, you can talk to local authority representatives and write to your local newspapers and radio stations. if it’s a national issue you can write to your parliamentary representative. At national level, the chances of getting media attention are much smaller. You can still write to your local media and you might get lucky and a regional or national company might pick it up. whatever you do, the most important aspect is to make sure that what you are saying is strong, eloquent and demonstrably true. Getting facts and figures wrong will open you to ridicule. A week presentation won’t influence anyone.

Overall I would say aim for a local radio station. They are often in need of content. Make a mark and you could go nationwide. Using social media channels like YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and twitter we reach global audiences, but you are more likely to get lost in the noise. There are various actions to be chosen from: Cowardice. Selfishness. Apathy. An extreme degree of tolerance. Vicarious pleasure in the feeling, "How nice that is not happening to me or my family!" or, "That is not my fate"! Take your pick.

People are too much worried about what others, who have a similar way of thinking, would think of them! Why should I bother if it's actually doing nothing harm to me? Or in case of corruption the ending would have been it's actually benefiting me? This is what some people would think! I know many youthful Indian minds would be furious with this but it is a raw truth. I'm not saying that no one opposes the wrong doings there are many people who do oppose the wrong doings but one would obviously define a country by how it's majority of people act!

I have always raised my voice against what I perceived to be wrong doing. I must say, that though I have been critical in many instances, people have generally responded well. I do, however, have to draw the line when my criticism of a guilty group is likely to impact negatively on an innocent individual who is not in the path of what I am critical of. When my name is attached to someone close to me, and the fall-out could be disastrous, I have to decide in the best interest of the innocent party who is not implicated or remotely involved. To proceed regardless would be reckless and irresponsible. It can be a delegate balance of responsibility and doing the right thing in certain circumstances.

I always raised voice against every wrong but yes I really felt regret for one or two times when I don't raised my voice in some cases but I forgive myself . I received from that place so I don't thought much about. Sometimes it happened that we don't said anything if anything wrong to us. Often I don't fought for ourselves. Sometimes it happened in the past but its for monetary gain for some people and therefore I had not fought for myself.

However, sometimes if it is personal within a group caring for someone, I don`t count it. I forget it. Yes I regret it If someone is bullying and I am just watching, I feel scared because of power and fame of next person. I do regret but, It has happened very rarely. I do raise my voice and I also make people aware of their rights. In public places like banks, and public transport like metros, trains and buses I take care of old people and kids. I try to make them aware that, they can take their service first without standing in a queue. and also in their language etc. In my opinion, India is one of the fastest growing economy in the world. If we are being diverted from the main purpose then there is only one possible problem Mentality;

Most of the youth are not well prepared for there own life, they don't have any sense of responsibility regarding themselves. When we see couple of extrovert people, specifically girls, we quickly come to weird co conclusions, which is again because of mentality. There are many such examples you can see, like in case of corruption etc. the ultimate problem you might find is mentality. It is necessary in democracy for citizens to unite,support and give their mandate to a political party, so that they can form government.But it is again necessary that after the elections,people should again become citizens, so that they can appreciate the good things done by the government and criticize the wrongdoing of it.

Democracy is like the court of citizens, where people give their judgement after every five years. but the problem starts when people starts blindly supporting any party even after elections and be a fan who starts defending every wrongdoing of that party just by saying that the other party did the same or worse than this. As I said that every citizen is like a judge and a judge cant be biased. If citizens will not criticize it, how will the government know that they are doing something wrong, rather they will be proud for it and continue doing this.This can lead to very dangerous situation. Because we are moving our country from democracy to authoritarian state. Cheers!

Kishore Shintré Cheers ?? Corruption is a sickness and a debt that will ruin not only the doer, but also his family values. I respect my father more not because he sent me to the best Engineering college he could, but because he didn't sell his values off to send me to a hot shot college abroad. I have seen it. Seen its consequences.
