Raise Your Voice to Shape the Future of Sustainable Procurement

Imagine a scenario where you could walk into a room of procurement leaders and share exactly what you need to accelerate sustainable procurement practices. Share with them what has worked well, and where it makes sense to invest time and energy to make real progress and waste no time!

Your actions today are shaping the future. The Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP) is convening over 100 global leaders who influence supply chains at a multi-billion-dollar scale. We want to share your thoughts with them.

Take one minute to share your input and experience via this link.

Together, we are stronger. SPP aims to create opportunities to accelerate sustainability collaboratively.?As we bring procurement leaders together to drive collaborative action and set solid commitments, it is vital that the agendas being made are ones that we can all stand behind and execute with conviction.

Power of Procurement – How SPP is Raising Awareness

Procurement decisions, including those YOU are involved in implementing, influence trillions of dollars each year. They have huge impacts on both the climate and people. NYC Climate Week is a key global gathering for climate action annually. During the momentum of this week, we are in New York because our profession plays a key role in promoting sustainability and reducing negative environmental and social impact across industries.

SPP believes that procurement needs stronger representation and role in strategy making, given that responsible purchasing practices are the fastest way for us, as procurement professionals, to save our shared world.

SPP Events In New York:

  • Day 1: In partnership with the First Movers Coalition of the World Economic Forum, we are convening Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs), members of their company’s leadership team, and value-chain partners to discuss strategies for impactful sustainability initiatives.

  • Day 2: SPP’s Annual In-Person Champions Program Meeting will review progress, share best practices, and plan bold collaboration projects for the year to come.
