The rail transportation sector in Malaysia is growing rapidly with the electric trains, double-tracking, ERL, LRT, MRT, and in the future, HSR. THE BUDGET IS HUGE.
Rail transportation not only carries passengers and freight more efficiently, it does it with minimal impact to the environment. IT'S GREEN.
There's about 80 rail industry players in Malaysia that consists of operators, assets managers, manufacturers, MRO and others. EXPERIENCED AND COMPETENT.
The hope and aspiration is for the local rail companies to become global champions in their fields. JUST LIKE THE KOREANS.
The first steps must be their meaningful participation in the local projects and subsequently, developing further their competitiveness and global market. LOCALISATION WORKS.
Are you listening? YOU SHOULD.

8 年I dont want to talk politics here but what can i say when the Sabahans and Sarawakians are sensitive to reference to Malaysia of projects which do not exist there or in existence but is no way developed. I would say that development of rail transportation is as much needed in Sabah and Sarawak. If i have my way it will do the government good to support the rail projects as i proposed earlier. Thank you.
Great initiative and am hoping that we cud share knowledge wth Might on how we cud add value to the local industry.
