Ragnarok Part 2 by Arrey Mbongaya Ivo
The blackening of the solar plexuses
Dreary silence from sounded cymbals
Symphonised with Agogo bells
The cloudy blind upon the starry fays
And procedural confirmation
Of the literary devices and affixes
And varied mythologies
Into the natural sequences
Related to man, gods and goddesses
Springing upon the physical existences
Spiritual and mental divergences
In the poesy of every time
Harmonized as these hours of judgment.
For security reasons
And rumours of espionage about Ruritania
A change of site seasons
Unto the prehistoric Olduvai gorge
As the Sanctum Sanctorum
Of Rhadamanthine the forthright judge.
A melancholic strain by Sappho
Tailed by a majestic solo
From Milton
The ever present Lechesis
The entry of Rhadamanthine announces
In a robe of fiery yellow with patches
Of snake tongues and Dragon eyes
According to hesitant Clotho
And famous Atropos
Interviewed from the first rungs
The yellow in the gown bespeaks fire
Dragon fiery eyes symbolize antiquity
And snake tongues viciousness
As was in the painfulness
Suffered by Adam and Eve
His train beholds the hairy Saki
Phoenix and the Scarus family
Interpreters of Kenyang
The language of the dawning precedence
Only the incandescence
Of holy candles mirror the faces
Shadows and spirits ready to scrutinize
And vehemently analyze
The adapted Midrash and legal gymnastics there of.
Served bowingly the pipe of wisdom
Carved by Gabriel the angel
The burst of musical atoms
from his forthright blowing
Vibrate across the Mexique bay
Unto the cloudy grey
Back into the pillared walls
Of the dome-shaped premises
In the belly of the gorge
Then the horns and beagles
Drums and ancient conches
Bigger than Ralph's epitome
In the lord of the flies
Confluence and fall
Before his lordship of the defense
Accepts his great call.
He is Okigbo the Great.
In a sensible chatter
Of fierce wordy dedication
Classical by the figurative
He sums his accused
As victims of malicious banter
“by the Assembly of Goddesses”
And strides in garments of blue
To warm his seat near Iris
His new love and legal partner.
For failing to induce sleep upon
Zephyr and Aurora
who convinced the Euroclydon
Against Paul the saint
Hypnos will dwell for a hundred moons
In the bloodstream of the Pacific
For creating an unquenchable dream
Of war and self glory
In the mind of Hitler Morpheus
Will serve Rastafari forever
But as a mitigating circumstance
That he caused Joseph to dream
The servitude shall bell only a hundred moons
“O talented Orpheus
Thou canst rouse
Bob Marley into life?
Yes for when did thou
fix for him to rouse
From this wasteful slumber?”
“O my Lordship
The star was carried in the ship
Of cunning Morpheus”
“No No Orpheus
You did not try
Join thou Cerberus
To guard the gate of Hell”
For giving Cleopatra twins
Against the sounding tins
Prophesying an untimely
Death of Mark Anthony
Pollux and Castor
will become pastors
preaching celibacy and equality
To every major city of the here
The before and the above here.
Then an Order of Valour
was awarded to Icarus
For flying from Crete
And Majestic Ra
Was sent to Lerna
For melting his wax wings
Daedalius was made
God of the arts
For passing his mind of arts
Into the bright Picasso
For writing Tantum Ergo
Aquinas will promptly marry
The three sister graces
For lack of household peace
Between the Crowned prince
And beautiful Diana
The Goddess Vesta
shall never ever marry
“O Ogun Strong Ogun
Why rumble in the hearts
Of policy makers
In the golden ages
Of revolutionary thirties?”
“Your Lordship upon adamant Stalin
Hitler so unchanging
And Churchill so challenging
I lay may defense”
“No No my god
The world bled
Streams of blood
And families dwindled like twilight
Unto the engines of trains
You shall raise your woeful strains”
The second phase of Ragnarok
Five long years
Of legal highs and tears
The lighting of Star lights
Against the cloudy grey
large strumpets and crumpets
Accompanying an echoing gavel
The sweet moving lyrics
Of Ora Pro Nobis
By the San Pedro choir
In a stylish choreography
By Great Charlie Chaplain
Carry Rhadamanthine the stern
Into his Sancto Sanctorum
