Radiotherapy 2025 Growth Predictions

2024 was a huge year for radiotherapy. The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) attendance increased 400% compared to 2019 (anecdotal evidence from previous “OG” radio-developers). Almost all companies with an IND - Phase II asset in radiotherapy or diagnostics increased their headcount. But which companies will continue growing in 2025??

Perspective Therapeutics - its hard to imagine another year of 88% growth but a recent CFO appointment (Juan Graham), a cash-runway of $220m+ until mid-2026, 3x Clinical Assets and 4x INDs to choose from. We expect continued development in clinical research, manufacturing and development. The only slow down in growth may be due to a low stock price and potential big pharma acquisition.

Nusano - we spoke with Chris Lowe on our podcast and they have a simple strategy: “Provide as much value and support to their community as possible”. Whilst not a drug-developer (they are a radioisotope supplier) we predict continued strong growth. Engineering, Regulatory, Radiochem and Client facing roles. Great leader, great culture and great timing - expect continued growth here.?

ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE - raised $188m in 2024 and $255 in 2023. A new CEO (Andrew Cavey). Partnerships with Ariceum Therapeutics, Alpha9 and Debiopharm. They have renewed / expanded manufacturing and development capabilities and have 16 Phase 0 to III clinical trials currently listed. We expect continued growth but its hard to predict where. Currently they have 35+ jobs posted with only 3 at Director and above and just 1 in the US. Reviewing their current team, they have a flat hierarchy with few executives (including no CMO as of 17th Jan) so too is their US presence. Will this change?
