Radio
I had an interview this morning on a talk show radio station in NC. The interview lasted only 15 minutes but was very pleasant. Ben Ball was very professional and had a way of making one feel extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I was a wreck.
I was so nervous about the interview that I didn't sleep much at all last night. I was concerned about tripping over my words, saying "um" too many times and that I would forget what I wanted to say. Add to that, I have some hearing loss, so I was afraid that I would not hear the question or hear it correctly. Was my fears founded in any way?
No, it wasn't. I did very well. Like I said, Ben Ball made things very comfortable and easy. I didn't forget what I was going to say, I know all about Dabby and The Dabby Project, which is good since I made her, and I didn't say "um" once. :) I just wish it were a little more than fifteen minutes so that I could have given credit to my publisher, Inknbeans Press, and to the former Marine, Ryan Wallace, for talking me into having my Dabby travel and start up The Dabby Project. Now I am too pumped up to sleep.
