Educate a child and raise a nation
I Am Youth is a team of young presenters who seek to influence and provide guidance to young people by creating content and facilitating conversations that encourage good morals, ethics and restore values. Their primary goal is to infiltrate the spaces that young people already occupy. I AM strives to uplift, equip and mobilize young people and future leaders in South Africa and Africa by using radio shows, video and audio podcasts, devotionals, virtual classes and free counselling.
Radio Pulpit strives to raise funds for I AM, our youth web radio
Learners often struggle to understand complex concepts in their English textbooks. So I AM Youth decided to help learners understand these concepts in their language. Therefore we donated 240 concept dictionaries to Ubuhle Christian School as a start. The books provided take the complicated concepts in Maths and Science and explain them in English and a language that the learners speak at home or are most familiar with, such as isiZulu and Sesotho Afrikaans and others.
We wish to extend this project and reach more Youth with similar projects that are life-changing.
