Two nurses and a bath...
Laura's radio interview with Gina Awad

Two nurses and a bath...

Kate and I were honoured to be invited to be interviewed on Gina's radio show "Living Better With Dementia" on Exeter's Phonicfm. It is a fantastic platform for people to learn about dementia and importantly raise awareness and highlight the support available for people. It is broadcast every 5th Saturday of the month from 2-4pm.

Inspirational, Award winning Gina, (as I like to call her) is a trailblazer in Exeter. She is founder of the Dementia Action Alliance there which she heads up single handedly with passion, compassion and commitment. She's a fab radio host too; watch out Kirsty Young! (I even got to chose a track and say why!)

You can hear my interview about how Memory Matters & then Moments Cafe started here

(Kate, my co-director was on her annual holiday in sunny Portugal which is why it's just me and not the pair of us. I tried not to miss her too much.)
