Description
The JETDRONE RC V125300 radio-controlled jet drone was developed by MarsMe as part of the ArmsMeCom Project. The V125300 is an aerial drone in the form factor of a cruise missile. It is propelled by an unguided solid propellant jet engine. The jet engine is not divided into a launching and cruising engine and provides launch and crusing mpulses at the same time.
The V125300 product does not require any special equipment or site preparation for launching.
The head unit of the product is equipped with a transparent cupola to provide visibility of the installed video control module. In the middle one-third there are wings on servomotors, in the tail of the product there are stabilizers (4 pcs.), two of which are on servomotors.
Along the case of the product, there are embedded mounts for the guide rods. In starting position, the guide rods are free to move along the mounts until the product is fully released. The guide rods are an element of securing the product to the ground, also guiding the product during the early height and speed gain period.
On the outer side of the product, in the area between 1/3 and 2/3 of the case sectors, there is access to the equipment compartment. The equipment compartment has elements for securing the load and its connection to the onboard control systems.
After gaining the necessary altitude, the unit performs a turn on the course and the marching speed. The marching speed at manual control mode is 300 km/h (84 m/sec) without adjustment (uncontrolled jet engine).
Movement and control is provided by controlled change of position of wings planes and rear stabilizers.
The volume of propellant of the jet engine provides an estimated operating cruise distance of 5,000 meters (or a total of 5,500 meters including startup, acceleration and maneuvering).
Course steering is optical with manual control by transmitting a radio signal from the operator's remote transmitter to the product's receiver. Visual control data is transmitted to the operator in reverse order by corresponding devices.
The operator's remote transmitter also controls other on-board systems, including the control relays of the equipment compartment.
The equipment compartment control relay can receive a programmed signal based on sensor calculations from the onboard controller in addition to the operator's remote transmitter signal.
Transmission of control commands from the operator's transmitter panel is carried out through an antenna amplifier with automatic positioning function in relation to the product.
The operator receives video stream and telemetry data on the data output equipment (tablet, laptop, goggles, helmet).
Solid propellant of SFAM100 modification is highly effective, non-explosive, stable. It does not require special operating and storage conditions.
