A Radical New Vision

New Substack Coming in September

New vision. Those two words were in the name of my former CPA firm and they are in the name of my current media company. To me, they mean a fresh perspective. Innovating to overcome obstacles and find new opportunities. Doing something different now that will lead to a different future. Now, new vision is in the name of my Substack newsletter.

What is Substack?

It’s a platform for writers to publish newsletters. It’s blog-like in that it lets readers like and comment on what they read, creating a community of people who are interested in the same topic. I am a writer; a content creator. It’s how I work toward my mission to transform the accounting industry. And I produce a lot!

Radical New Vision

This Substack is designed to cover all things practice management – in a radical way, of course. I’ll be sharing content weekly in the following categories:?

• People. How to elevate things like culture, retention and recruiting, client experience, employee experience and more.
• Process. Plus, the impact of process on productivity, standardization and productization.
• Pricing. All things #RadicalPricing including profitability, operations, capacity management and value pricing.
• Tech & AI. Not just all the cool new tech, but how it impacts processes, clients and employees.
• Marketing. Niche marketing, social media, networking and what is needed to drive new revenue.
• Books. Material from my three books including videos that talk you through the exercises in Radical Pricing.
• Just Jody. All the videos, ramblings and off-the-cuff thoughts you’re used to seeing from me.

I’m a strong believer in social media, so I will be sharing what I post on Substack here, too. However, Substack provides something I can’t find elsewhere – the community I love with a single platform that easily organizes and archives content that people can access whenever they are ready for it. I want you to be part of this new community.
