Radical Health proved to be an excellent event to network and showcase Innokas’ software unit Digious’ expertise. Radical Health was the first proper MedTech fair for our Sales Manager Mika H?m?l?inen who shares his experience now.??
“Definitely a great place to reconnect with former leads. Some people who worked at Innokas’ left me some cases, and during Radical Health I had a chance to connect with people involved and discuss our possible co-operation in the future”, Mika remarks with a smile.?
However, Mika says he was the happiest to see the curiosity and interest in our software unit Digious at the fair. “Being there with our customer with a tangible prototype of their solution, it was easy to showcase our expertise hands-on by showing our stand visitors the different software intricacies at play”, Mika explains. “It is far more gratifying to be able to demonstrate our expertise rather than merely describe it.”??

?In addition, it clarified Digious’ strength as a software house as working mainly in medical software means fulfilling expectations no other software domain might have. The combination of regulatory compliance, the complexity of healthcare systems, patient safety concerns, interoperability requirements, data privacy and security, lengthy development cycles, and ethical considerations makes medical software development more challenging than other software domains. “When working with expectations this high daily, even our junior developers could easily be credited with more experience than just the years they have been working”, Mika remarks.??

Overall, Digious’ visibility in the market was central discussion topic at the stand and the engagement from the visitors had a tangible effect. “Just today I have had many phone calls with people I met at the event. The experience was certainly a rewarding one and I would take part again given the chance”, Mika concludes.??
