If you run a business or have a senior role this can be a lonely journey. Perhaps in the past you had colleagues to bounce ideas off, but now in the position you are in, the buck stops with you. With that additional responsibility, can come pressure and stress and it can be hard to know who to talk to. Most people just don't understand what you are going through... ??

It can be easy to get in your own head, and we can listen to that self-doubt. One thing that massively helps is the individuals you surround yourself with. ??

Are you surrounded right now by individuals who INSPIRE and UPLIFT you....? Drains can have the complete opposite effect.

So think now about the people that YOU spend most of your time with...

?? Are they successful?

?? Have they a very positive and expectant mindset?

?? Are they focussed on growth?

Last week, I was invited to film a video with my fellow Co-Founders of the Hertfordshire Business Growth Show, which is a separate business I formed in early 2023. Despite this business being only an IDEA this time last year, 12 months later we are finalists in the BEST new business in Hertfordshire with the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce.

One of the reasons I put down to our success, is we surrounded ourselves with positive uplifting people. If there is a challenge, we look for the solution. If we have some unexpected news, we rally around each other and bounce back even stronger. If one of us deals with a challenge we have not experienced before, we all add our own unique perspective, and come up with some insight. And one thing we all share is a growth mindset.

If you surround yourself with the right people, they will INSPIRE you. They will provide support, accountability and insight, and you will achieve new heights. ??

Don't fall into the trap of doing things alone. ??????
