RaderCo Productivity Snapshot

A couple of weeks ago, _Lisa Veronica Wood , Director of Marketing and Client Concierge, and I ditched the office and spent two days at the lake for our Q2 Reflections and Q3 planning.

I call these Design Days - no email, no meetings, just pure heads-down creativity. We take lots of walks (15 miles!) because that's when our brains can really open up and problem-solve. Let's be honest: When did you last have a lightbulb moment between chat messages and meetings?

Using our Powered Path Playbook?, we looked back on the quarter, celebrating our Big Wins, Lessons Earned, and Smartest Decisions, and more. Are you doing this with your team or business buddies?

Our Big Win for Q2? Finishing MarceyRader.com! After refreshing RaderCo earlier in the year, we can let our websites 'rest'. It was all just in time for my big speaker reel reveal on my business anniversary of July 16!

I also escaped to an Airbnb for three days to work on my fourth book. It's all about how teams and companies can build productive, healthy habits, no matter their size or role.

These personal Design Days are unplugged - no emails, meetings, chats, or calls.

I left straight from there to deliver the opening keynote for Visit Raleigh to help meeting professionals Elevate Their Focus. It was one of my all-time favorite events in 11 years - no joke! Nicole Keshler and Kathryn Hollomon Short are perfection at putting on an event and making it fun, meaningful, and memorable. The Westin Hotels & Resorts RTP was gorgeous and the food might just be the best I've had at a hotel buffet. Yes, even better than Pebble Beach resort! We made hygiene care bags for Oak City Cares to help people in transition and had mastermind sessions on trends we see in event planning (and what we hope goes away!). My trend? Dine Arounds for smaller conferences. Love getting to know people better in these smaller settings.

And what a coincidence that I was dressed PERFECTLY to fit their theme!
