Rachel and Kim Give Thanks for a special St. Patrick's Day Celebration!

Rachel G. (Program Mgr.) and Kim L. (Family Services Mgr.) take a break to check their St. Paddy's day attire in preparation for a fun day at Friendship Center. Rachel coordinated the activities and music to ensure that the members would have a truly memorable celebration in honor of the famous Irish Martyr, St. Patrick. Kim coordinated the food which was donated from our wonderful caring business partners and neighbors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following partners for their donation of food items: Matthew Sahli and Rick Fidel- Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort- 50 boxed lunches; Zaira Ortiz- Love&Care, 8 gallons of dairy free mint chip and vanilla icecream, 2 lb. bag of chocolate chips, 2 gallons of lactose free milk, 2 large bags of Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies and 2 packets of green icing- for our special St. Paddy's day green shakes; Amy Rosas- baked and decorated 6.5 dozen shamrock shaped sugar cookies and lavender cookies; Susette V, daughter of one of our members, Manny V.- donated 4 dozen beautifully decorated vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with confetti icing. A great big Friendship Center Family hug to all of our incredible care partners who made this a truly memorable St. Patrick's Day celebration.
