First Things First: We Started a Blog!

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our new blog, Notes on Good Podcasting! On it, our team will be sharing weekly articles about every aspect of quality audio storytelling, from concept and narrative to editing, engineering, publication, and promotion.

Awards

Drum roll, please... Undiscarded: Stories of New York, our collaboration with The City Reliquary Museum, was short-listed for a Webby! It was up for Best Indie Podcast, and while we didn't bring home the top prize, being among the top 12% of 13,000 podcast entries is truly an honor. Next year!?

Coming Soon!

We have three exciting new projects underway:

• Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley: Our Production and Education teams are teaming up to teach the art of podcast storytelling to a cohort of awesome teenagers in Columbus, Georgia, helping them develop a new series about their lives and communities.?
• International Society for Medical Publication Professionals: We're taking the reins on their current podcast series targeting important topics in medical publication, and supervising a complete rethinking and rebranding to make it more engaging and effective.
• Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation: After last year’s success with “The State of the World”, we're working on a second podcast miniseries for IGCC – this one talking about the state of global democracy, just in time for election season!

Get ready to listen to all three starting in just a few months.

Podcast Education

There’s still time to bring our unique Podcast Education program to your Camp or Out-Of-School Program for Summer 2024! Reach out soon and we can configure our program to fit the needs of your site and schedule for classes starting in July, August, and beyond.?

The Watson Podcastinematic Universe Expands!

Our long-time friends at RMW Commerce have expanded The Watson Weekly podcast! Now, there's The Watson Weekend, a weekly talk show that gives a more energetic and casual take on all things e-commerce, business, and more. Catch the live shows every Friday, or catch up with the podcast a week later!

Out and Around

So far this year our team has been all over the country — and the world. We've been to Dallas for the National Afterschool Association Convention, Palm Springs for BOOST Conference, and London for The Podcast Show.

Next, we'll be in Baltimore July 31st – August 2nd for the Bridge to Integrated Marketing & Fundraising Conference. Will you be there? Come visit David and Hager at Booth #433!

Formative Feted

And finally, we were thrilled that Formative – an award-winning podcast we produce for our good friends at New York Edge – was featured prominently at their annual fundraising gala in Manhattan. Student co-hosts Isabelle and Thibaut looked amazing at the podium as the crowd listened to excerpts that highlighted their amazing interviewing skills. Congratulations to New York Edge on another groundbreaking year helping the children of New York City!
