Rabbit R1 is a sell-out

Rabbit R1 is a sell-out

When people say there is no such thing as free publicity. I pity them. Because we all know someone who does it like clock work. If you don’t believe me read fun fact section below. This week marked the launch Emo and Ema at the same time. One is image to video tool and the other an AI employee. Also, Rabbit an AI Agent in your hands. Fast paced AI race in full throttle.

Here are the 4 interesting AI things that I learned and enjoyed this week.

4 AI Things

AI Research

The Rabbit R1 is a new $199 AI gadget making waves by linking to your mobile apps to perform tasks using its unique language model, without needing external APIs. It's a response to how glued we are to our phones, shuffling between apps. The R1's standout feature is learning your personal app usage to streamline tasks, aiming to boost productivity and enjoyment. It leverages a Large Action Model, enhancing its interaction with apps, making the R1 a potential game-changer in how we use technology daily. More on this on today’s AI concept segment.

AI Meme

Right after Sora's buzz, Alibaba dropped hints about its new AI tool, leaving us guessing. They've rolled out tech to bring pictures to life by animating facial expressions based on text inputs. This takes me back to Hogwarts Portrait Gallery. The demos show characters with moderate emotions, leaving us curious about EMO's ability to express intense feelings using only audio. The tool is not yet released to the audience yet so without experimentation we won’t be able to judge the effectiveness.

AI Concept

The Large Action Model is like a super-smart computer program designed to understand and predict the outcome of various actions in complex scenarios. Imagine playing a video game where every choice you make can lead to a different ending. This makes it incredibly useful for planning in situations where there are many possible outcomes. By acting as a strategic advisor, the LAM assists in decision-making and prioritization for the Rabbit R1 device. It enables them to anticipate outcomes, weigh the benefits against risks, and choose actions that maximize the device's success.

Fun Fact

Elon Musk threw a tantrum and sued his old pals at OpenAI, claiming they ditched their original plan to make AI a super-powered therapist for all humankind. Apparently, they got greedy and are now Microsoft's money-making machine instead of saving the world with robots who bake cookies and do your taxes. Speaking of free publicity ???
