Intel and AMD Form Alliance to Counter Arm, Ensuring x86 Architecture Compatibility
Intel and AMD recently announced the establishment of the x86 Ecosystem Advisory Group, aimed at streng thening the compatibility and consistency of the x86 architecture across data centers, cloud computing,clients, edge and embedded devices, as well as emerging technologies like Al and 3D packaging. Companies such as Broadcom, Dell, Lenovo, and Oracle have joined as founding members of the group.
