Your brain fascinates me.? I think it would fascinate you too.?
Did you know that our brain is wired to look for what is wrong? I see it every day.??
I will ask a client what they would like to have their ideal life look like.? Only 100% of the time I hear all the things they do not want in their ideal life.?
Ahhhhh.? I love being human.?
That means in order to create what we do want we have to be very intentional.? Not just once, but e v e r y d a y.? As many moments out of the day as possible.?
In fact, forming #habits to override our natural tendency to look for what is wrong is exactly what I recommend.
Getting what you want is going to take using your brain differently.?
Why???
Because we create our life with our thoughts.??
Let me say that again.? Because we create our lives with our thoughts!
If your brain is wired to find what is wrong (a.k.a. what you don't like) then THAT is what you will create.?
Just saying.?
There is another way.
Tell your brain what you want . . . what to look for in your day and it will just obey you.?
Tell it to look for why you are amazing at planning your time and you'll find that.
Tell it to look for how you consistently you do what you say matters to you and you'll find that.
Tell it to look for how much energy you have through the day to do the important things and you'll find that.
Tell it to look for how much you are loved and appreciated and you'll find that.
Tell it to notice how strong and healthy you are and you'll find that too.
Tell it that your life is right on track and you’ll find that.?
Tell it that you have the perfect amount of money and you’ll find it.?
Brains are amazingly obedient.?
What are you telling yours to look for?
Do This.
Answer this question for yourself.? You can journal, capture it in your phone notes or open your phone and video yourself responding.? Just make the decision to do it and then take action.??
How do I want my [ work, health, relationship, financials, family, etc.] to feel?
Now that is a great place to start.? When we know how we want something to feel, we can craft a life around achieving that feeling.??
I absolutely believe in you.? Even when (and often especially when) you don't know if you can believe in yourself.???
We all win when you win.??
