"On What We All Can Do"
"To hold our tongues when everyone is gossiping, to smile without hostility at people and institutions, to compensate for the shortage of love in the world with more love in small, private matters; to be more faithful in our work, to show greater patience, to forgo the cheap revenge obtainable from mockery and criticism: all these are things we can do." - Poet and novelist Hermann Hesse.

This is a small reminder that it's easy to feel powerless in the face of the big problems of the world; it's easy to feel like there is nothing we can ever do to create change.
Don't fall into this trap; show kindness in the face of hostility and criticism, show love in the face of hatred and resentment, show patience in the face of urgency, show humility, and drop the fight about things not worth fighting about. These are all things we can do to create the change we want to experience in our lives.
"Do good, without looking to whom".
