"All big things grow from little things, but new little things are destroyed by their environments unless they are cherished for reasons more like aesthetic appreciation than practical utility." A quote from Jane Jacobs and her book 'Cities and the Wealth of Nations', written in 1984. This I believe is how countries should be run, with principal rather than grand financial strategy based on flawed assumptions of control. More relevant than ever.
