Actually it's an in-your-face marketing exercise to remind people on a monthly basis, of their right to participate, engage and vote in Luxembourg!
Here's how it works:
Every month I will send a slightly cheeky letter like this one with a short quiz.
Example:
Do you recognise place X?
You get a point. 1/3
Do you live or work in Luxembourg?

Are you registered to vote in Luxembourg?
You don't get a point 2/3.
Result: "You might be a tourist"
It is mainly aimed at residents who are unaware of their right to participate, get engaged and vote in Luxembourg's local elections. The next elections are in 2029, but that shouldn't stop us from promoting civil engagement throughout.
Municipalities are in charge of the administration of the municipality, spatial planning, housing, public order, waste collection, water and power supplies, traffic policy, environmental policy, primary schools, social assistance and much more. So whilst you might enjoy and follow my Instagram and LinkedIn content, or maybe you're constantly reading Jerome Bloch 's posts and thinking 'Yeah things should be different'.
