2 个月I helped someone quit smoking by replacing the habit with a healthier one. He went from smoking a pack a day to one every two days, then to one every three days, and gradually less than a pack a week. During this process, I encouraged him to eat biscuits, drink water, and talk about the things that would normally drive him to smoke. It didn’t take long, and now he’s completely smoke-free, no longer needs biscuits, and instead uses conversation to cope. Changing bad habits requires a shift in mindset, especially understanding the underlying reasons behind those habits. It’s all about finding new, healthier ways to replace old patterns.
