Quickest or best?

Quickest or best?

A customer came back to us the other day, after a couple of years at one of the "big players".

They had a fleet of 10 vehicles to replace, and carrying on with the same supplier may have been the quickest option available to them.

But it wasn't the best.

I guess it's easy to assume the "titans" of the industry will always provide you with the best option, and I guess it ends up being true in some sectors.

After all, you're not going with a no-name computer rather than an Apple, Dell, Lenovo or HP, are you?

But the world of leasing is rather more complicated than that, and the truth is that if you're not regularly reviewing your current arrangements and ensuring that it delivers what you need it to, there's a good chance you're missing out.

All told, this new arrangement is going to save our client £2.5k across the lifetime of the agreement, which is a fair chunk of change, and can be spent more profitably in other areas of the business.

They haven't had to compromise either – they've ended up with higher spec cars at lower prices, all in their corporate colours, and delivered within 3 weeks.

In addition, they're taking full advantage of our online fleet management system, which'll give them complete visibility on everything to do with their fleet and the mileage of their vehicles.

Oh, and thanks to our 'Six Months Free' maintenance offer, we're paying their maintenance until April, saving them another chunk of cash.

All in all, it's a great result for everyone involved, and has only happened because they thought outside the box, didn't take the quick option, but decided to ensure they were taking the best one.

If you've been using the same supplier for a while, or you've really got no idea whether you're getting a good deal or not, or whether you're getting everything you need, give us a call on 0800 043 2050 or comment in the post below.

Oh, and just to be clear, you can enjoy six months' maintenance absolutely free too – you'll just need to place your order before 18th December this year.
