QuickBooks Online Sales Orders: Frustrations, Part 3
While QuickBooks was originally designed for book keeping and accounting, over the years it evolved and added Inventory features for small and mid-sized business that have physical goods. It worked great in Quickbooks Desktop because sales managers could create SALES ORDERS.
However, as QuickBooks sunsetted the desktop versions and made the push to their online version called QuickBooks Online (QBO), it has left many sales managers in the manufacturing and wholesale distributions frustrated. Why?
QuickBooks Online does not support manually creating sales orders.
These sales managers have found a few workarounds. For example, a wholesale distribution manager in Detroit, Michigan creates his sales orders as INVOICES in QBO. Another sales manager enters sales orders as ESTIMATES.
While speaking to these sales managers, they expressed frustrations with having to manually enter 100s of sales orders from SMS and EMail into QBO. It's cumbersome, time consuming and error-prone. So I recommended an AI tool to automate data entry.
I recommended an AI tool called Logistify AI to automate the entry of those sales orders into QBO Invoices.
The Logistify AI assistant automatically fetches sales orders from their WhatsApp/Email/SMS/Voicemails into the Logistify Sales-Order Management System for Quality Checks. Then with our QB integration, we push the orders to QBO invoices & snyc with the current available stock in their Quickbooks inventory. This reduces over-selling/over-committing.
