Welcome to another update from my desk as ED/CEO @officialnepc. I will be sharing about the Halal economy stakeholder's programme, meetings with the foreign affairs ministry and the National Productivity Center as well send forth with the outgoing Regional COO of Afreximbank.

On 15/09/24, I led a team from @officialnepc on a courtesy visit to Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The support of the Min. of Foreign Affairs is critical to the success of our export agenda & facilitation of market on the global stage. Our discussions centered on collaborations in that regard.

On 18/09/24, I was honoured to join HE VP @KashimSM GCON & other dignitaries at the Nigerian Halal Economy Stakeholders’ Engagement Programme which proceeded under the theme: “Building a vibrant Halal Economy: Unlocking Nigeria's Potential.” It was an insightful & interactive forum.

On 19/09/2024, I received in audience the DG of @NgProductivity Center, Dr. Baffa Babba Danagundi & members of his team who paid a visit to the Council. The Center was established to stimulate & promote productivity, monitor trends & ensure a competitive & productive economy.

Our discussions were robust & interactive and centered around strengthening ties, fostering collaboration, and seeking continued support that will lead to improvements and growth in the non-oil export sector in furtherance of our diversification agenda.

On Friday 20/09/24, I joined other distinguished guests at the send forth dinner of the Regional Regional CEO African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) , Mr. Eric Monchu Intong. His tenure was extremely beneficial to Nigeria’s trade ambitions & in facilitating the implementation of @AfCFTA. He will be greatly missed.
