Quick SQL DB to Snowflake Export Tool

Since I started working for Snowflake & witnessed how it can totally change the way organizations use data to enhance their businesses, getting their inital data quickly into Snowflake to see the difference for themselves was the biggest challenge I came across for anyone who wanted to try out Snowflake.

Especially for quick testing & POC purposes where you don't want to spend hours on resources, learning ETL tools or open up firewalls but just want to get your data very easily into Snowflake.

Since Snowflake is fully ANSI-Compliant and uses nothing but SQL, I decided to create a lightweight windows app that can be installed and used to push data to Snowflake without knowing much about our platform. Something that is Point & Click which does the data type conversions, table & schema creation, generating flat files, uploading & ingesting them to Snowflake along with executing all the necessary SQL to do all these tasks.

One thing that was missing was SAP HANA which I finally had a chance to add that as a source as well. As a result, if you have SAP Hana, MsSQL, Oracle, Postgres or MySQL, you can use this tool to quickly ingest a sample set of tables from your sources into your Snowflake account quickly to try what Snowflake can do for your workloads.
