Quick Excel Tip - How to use the CONCATENATE function

Let’s say you have a list of first and last names of your team on an excel spread sheet:

Let’s also say you want to use this list to generate each individual's e-mail address based on this standard: [email protected]

You could use the concatenate function to get this done:

Step 1: Go to cell C2.

Step 2: Enter the concatenate function as per below:

Step 3: Hit Enter

Step 4: Copy Cell C2, and Paste across C3..C12

Step 5: All done :)
