A QUICK AND EASY WAY TO CHOOSE WINTER GLOVES

Winter has arrived in Sweden, and although right now I am in warm Malaysia, I still remember the cold weather back home. Are you getting ready to bring out your winter gear to make sure your hands can continue to work comfortably?

Winter can put our health at risk in many ways. In mild winters, it can be light risks such as dryness due to skin dehydration or a tingling effect of the fingers as they get cold. However, as the temperature drops, symptoms can be more severe such as frostbite and hypothermia. What is worse is that they might be irreversible.

So, are you still deciding which winter gloves to get to replace your old ones? Do you find it hard to choose? Here is a tip to make your life easier.

Maybe you have noticed some of the gloves in our latest catalogue look similar to one another? Take the Soft Touch? Smooth (PR-500) for example, an extremely lightweight glove with superior fit. On the other hand, Soft Touch? Smooth Winter (PRV-550) looks almost the same. Not only are the features similar, but also the protection values according to EN388 (some values are even higher). The winter version has an additional fleece liner together with an M-tex? membrane making it wind and waterproof.

So, if you have a favourite glove, make sure to check if there is a winter version.
