Quick and Easy On The Go Snack

Happy New Year! Here is a quick and easy on-the-go snack recipe. It's satisfying and will give you an extra boost of energy.

1 cup natural peanut butter (no sugar added)

3/4 cup rolled oats

2 T organic honey

Flaxseed to taste (2 Tablespoons)

1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (regular or mini)

Combine and refrigerate until firm. Form into 1 inch balls and place in freezer until ready to eat - 2 pieces are a nice, satisfying snack. Another option is to line a small baking pan with parchment paper and press mixture into pan until even and smooth - once set, cut into small bars - freeze until ready to eat.

A decent combo of protein and carbs.
