A Quick Challenge to Brighten Your Day

This quote hit me hard. It was under a friend’s email signature.

“To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.?This is to have succeeded.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson?

In this world of influencer marketing and constant negative news cycles, where it seems everything that’s bigger is better, and salacious headlines get the most attention, it’s easy to lose sight of the impact you can have on one person.

Each and every interaction is an opportunity to purposefully make someone else’s day better – or worse. ?

It's as simple as making eye-contact, offering a heart-warming smile, and stopping for an extra moment to genuinely connect rather than quickly passing by. Or what about picking up the phone to call a friend with whom you've lost touch?

At some point today, I guarantee you will interact with someone who desperately needs an extra dose of kindness.

I challenge you to purposefully be the kindness another person needs to experience today, so that they can breathe a little easier.

It's a simple solution to defuse destructive stress.
