Questions Your Strategy Should Answer
1) What are our fundamental values and beliefs?
2) How far into the future will we look?
3) What products/services will we and will we not offer?
4) What customer groups and geographic areas will we and will not serve?
5) what will fuel our growth?
6) What products/services and markets represent our greatest potential?
7) What products/services and markets require the most significant investment?
8) What competitive and advantages will cause us to succeed?
9) What infrastructure and skills do we need to support our competitive and advantage(s)?
10) what financial and nonfinancial results will we achieve?
Answers to these questions must stand up to two reality tests:
- The viability test (will it work ?)
- The doability test (can we implement it?)
