Yeah. What are you going to do about it?
It’s so easy for us to get caught up in our own worldview. Often a self-serving, heady feeling.
On one hand, that worldview could be the worldview of a victim. “Man, you know how it is. Same shit, different day. Work sucks”, or “Well my parents gave me everything when I was growing up, so I’m just not hungry!”, or “Well I can’t invest in building my startup now because I have to take care of a family”
On the other hand that worldview could even be an overly knowing, intelligent one. “Yeah, I recently read that X startup received an investment of Y million dollars, and that’s a sector that I’ve always told you would be awesome”, or “Nah man! Meditation is not about sitting in a corner and controlling your mind. It’s about letting things happen”
It could be anything. But these are the ones I’m most familiar with.
Often the world view is disguised in a veneer of intelligence and knowing, but rarely does this serve any progress, any creation or any value for one’s self or those around.
So, honestly, there is only question that you need to ask yourself in the end of all the rambling, ranting, whining and moaning.
So, what?
What, are you going to do about it?
That, is the only knowing that matters.
