Questions: yet another #stupidmistake

It's such a pity, when in conversation with a person (and English isn't their native language), and you get to that point that you realize their level is actually quite good! You no longer have to speak a bit slower, you no longer find yourself choosing simple vocabulary (just in case). You can even begin to speak at a normal rhythm and feel comfortable in this conversation.

Then something happens that throws you completely off track.

That person asks you a question - but you don't quite get it. You know it's a question because of that awkward intonation they added at the end. But the wording was, well - way off.

Well, ladies and gentlemen. Tomorrow, during our workshop with AdHoc-In, we will go over one of the most ridiculous #stupidmistakes: FORMING A QUESTION. And believe me, you won't have to make that mistake again. For some reason, it is something that happens very often, even for the advanced speakers, once the question gets a bit longer, and seems a bit more complicated, you get your word order all wrong! Well, with this simple lesson, believe me, you won't have to be that person ever again.

We will also have the opportunity to complete the workshop Communication Made Easy: English 101 (Iniciativas de Valor) with a bit of practice, including a review of intonation, applied of course to questions. I'll leave the link below, I hope you have an amazing evening, and an even better Friday afternoon - with me :). See you!
