Questions to be with when embarking on new chapters
A new door always opens for us to explore life beyond our comfort zone/zone of excellence.

Questions to be with when embarking on new chapters

"Now what? This is arguably the hardest question one can ask themselves. When you're at the rock bottom, at least you know you must go up. But what about when you already are on the top?" This is what one of Slovenia's best basketball players with a rich NBA career, Goran Dragic, recently shared in one of his interviews.

It got me thinking about my own experience and that of my high-performing clients whom I had the honor of supporting throughout their journey of...

  • transcending structured routines and crafting a vision for aligned & fulfilling life post-competition or corporate milestones.
  • translating athletic successes into business and leadership advantages, bridging communication and self-worth gaps.
  • rediscovering aspects of selves that were sacrificed in the name of excellence, and aligning with the next chapter of life.
  • redefining excellence, breaking boundaries, and reimagining the possible to actualize even the most ambitious dreams.
  • cultivating clarity, courage, and capacity to move beyond the current comfort zone towards a deeper purpose.

So what now?

Openness to reclaim our wholeness, to gather the parts of ourselves we abandoned in the quest for greatness.

Daring to go beyond what we are so great at so that we can activate and embody the version of ourselves we need to call in, receive, and enjoy what comes next.

And willingness to trust that what is looking to emerge, is even greater and more deeply aligned with our soul & spirit.

This is an equal part of surrendering into the process of becoming so fully aligned that we become the gateway of the Divine, and also intentionally cultivating it through the expansion of clarity, courage, and capacity.

So what now that we are on the top?

Now we rewrite our story, the one that allows us to realize what is calling us, and here is a set of questions to be with to get started:

  • What do you need to reclaim your power, to reimagine the possible, and to realize your deepest dreams?
  • How can you include all the parts and processes?
  • How do you want to embody yourself in this next phase of your life?
  • How do you want to embody that next phase to actually bring forth what you want in a truly aligned way?
  • How can you consecrate your life for the embodiment of your gifts, purpose, and service?

Keep in mind, there are no right or wrong answers. Chances are, you will have to ask the same question multiple times, in several different ways to get to the answer that is truly yours (and not a reflection of someone's expectation of you).

Remember, the ones that are truly yours, soul-inpired and aligned, will simply feel lighter and more expansive. At least until the mind jumps in with the need for logical explanation, filled with fear of the unknown. And that's where even the most brilliant, accomplished, and visionary people remain stuck... overthinking things or getting distracted by the ongoing commitments of the day-to-day life.

Which is why it's imperative to have the right support system in place.

There is just so much to do in this world. How can anybody ever say that he/she is at the top... multidimensional lives that we live enable us to move in many different directions exercising our mission and competences along the way. Just look around and serve. ??
