BELOW ARE SOME OF THE QUESTIONS WE HAVE BEEN ASKED AND ANSWERED THIS WEEK....
Q1. I currently have an operator licence for 1 vehicle but wish to increase to 2 vehicles is there a cost to do this?
A1. There is no additional cost to make a major change to your operator licence however you will need to show an extra ￡4,400 in financial standing for the extra vehicle.
Q2. Do the case study and multiple choice exam only run 4 times per year?
A2. The exams do only run 4 times per year, March, June, September and December, However some OCR centres are now registered to run the multiple choice online, this exam can be taken at anytime throughout the year.
Q3. Can I do my transport manager cpc training online in 10 days?
A3. Yes the online transport manager course has been designed to allow you to work through the course at your own pace, so if you want to study the whole course in 10 days then that is not a problem.
Q4. I wish to increase the number of vehicles I operate do I need to notify the traffic commissioner before I can operate my additional vehicles?
A5. Yes you would need to apply for a major change on your operators licence before you can put the additional vehicles to use.
Q5. I failed both parts of my R1 & R2 transport manager exam is there any where to purchase past practice papers?
A5. Yes we have a bundle pack of past mock exams 6 multiple choice and 6 case study available to purchase from our online training centre.
Q6. Do I have to sit my multiple choice and case study exams at the same time and at the same test centre?
A6. No you can sit the exams on separate days and at any training centre.
Q7. One of my vehicles was stopped by the DVSA, everything was fine, does my driver need to keep a record of the DVSA stop for 28 days?
A7. No your driver must hand in to you or your transport manager the signed PG35 that was issued by the DVSA officer
