Questions Demand Answers

Questions Demand Answers

The quality of the questions you ask determines the quality of your life. Being curious is commendable. Wanting to understand the world around you and what others think is essential. However, as the famous author Ursula K Le Guin said, “The only questions that really matter are the ones you ask yourself.”

Each of us has an inner dialogue.

We talk to ourselves constantly throughout the day. That conversation can be uplifting or destructive. Some people experience frustration, anxiety, and pain. They ask themselves the wrong questions. Others experience joy, excitement, and a life filled with possibilities. They ask themselves better questions.

Questions demand answers. A negative question results in a damaging answer. We sometimes say things to ourselves that we would never let someone else say about us. A good question yields a positive answer.

Listen to yourself.

What are the questions you are asking? What are the answers you are giving? Are you helping yourself or hurting yourself? Are you your own best friend or your worst enemy? How can you improve the quality of your questions? How might that improve the quality of your life? What can you do right away?

Questions demand answers. What are your answers to these questions?
