i)?How do we harness the collective wisdom of the organization? I read a book titled “The Minding Organization - Bring Future to the Present” (authors: Moshe R Rubenstein & Iris R Firstenberg) long time ago. I concluded that every organization is like an organism with its own brain which has a left brain (logical mind) and a right brain (creativity). Idea of an effective organization is that which synthesize both the parts of brain in decision making. And here is where the collective wisdom is of use. How do we use the implicit and explicit knowledge latent in the minds of the employees to drive the organization. After all a team is many hands but one mind.

ii)?How do we use rationality (i.e. data and its usage using AL/MI) and intuition and perception together instead of two discrete halves. Meaning how do we use the left and right brain together of an organization.?
iii)How do you ensure that organizational strategy is understood by everyone in the organization from top to bottom and they can relate to it (meaning each person knows what is he supposed to do, why he is supposed to do that and how he is supposed to do and where does he connect in the value chain? How do we align all the horses pulling the cart in one direction?

?iv)??I had written an article sometime ago. What is says that we all agree that knowledge is power but in current world more often than not powerful people feel they have the privilege of having the knowledge. So basically, higher levels of hierarchy at times do not listen or willing to learn or open to new knowledge. How we disassociate knowledge and wisdom from the hierarchy and make our organization an idea hub for people to share fearlessly and or anonymously.
v)??Projects fail for one of the three Es (either the Estimation was wrong, or Expectation setting was wrong or then Execution was wrong). How do we align the 3 Es for a more reliable and expected outcome.
ANSWERS TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS
Many years ago, me and my team had developed a new kind of process encapsulated as a software application. It was neither OLTP nor Analytics. It solves all the questions raised above. It was meant to be helping organizations to plan for future with the help of collective wisdom of the employees. We successfully tested it across large organizations but did not launch commercially for some reasons. But now it seems the time has come to re-introduce it. Here are some salient features of this application. Organizations and CXOs desirous of collaboration and knowing more can contact me directly for a workshop to understand and experience it first hand.
