1. What qualifications have you got that relate to flooding?
2. What is your experience?
3. Can I see some case studies of projects you have worked on?
4. Have you got full Professional Indemnity Insurance?
Experienced flood surveyors should easily be able to provide high level answers to the above.
One thing we have seen previously in the flood sector is companies offering a free ‘survey’. In the past these have been sales people, who, to cover their time and travel, need to make a sale. This has in some cases, resulted in flood protection which is not the best suited for the property.
