Questions

So many unanswered questions???

How did this happen? Why me? What's next?

I started by learning more about my diagnosis: NET (neuroendocrine tumor) What to do when you are diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer (netrf.org)

NETWise Podcast about Neuroendocrine Cancer - https://youtu.be/kJGXNqZA-Ac

As earth shattering as it was for me to hear about my neuroendocrine cancer diagnosis.?I know I'm not alone.

The news flooded my mind with many thoughts and emotions.??Every day is a new experience as I go through learning more about my cancer:

  • Being angry, afraid, or worried
  • Not really believing that I have cancer
  • Feeling?sad, guilty, or lonely
  • Having a strong sense of hope for the future
  • You get the picture

What's next?

I will learn about my neuroendocrine tumor (NET) treatment options, so I can be more involved in my care planning, feel more confident about my treatment choices, and be better equipped to manage my symptoms at home as I move forward.

Yours in care,
