The topic of customers is an interesting one in most organisations I work with. Customer-centricity is a common aspiration. However, when you scratch below the surface, there are often significant discrepancies that cause silos and misalignment.
Customers perceive that your organisation offers them potential value when it addresses key needs that are relevant and important to them. When your organisation meets customers’ needs better than anyone else – and does so at an acceptable price – customers buy its products. Further, when your organisation is able to deliver those products effectively, it drives profitability and growth and thus, it creates Economic-Value.
