Question Everything – Is it true, is it valuable?
“The key to wisdom is this - constant and frequent questioning, for by doubting we are led to question and by questioning we arrive at the truth.” - Peter Abelard
Our world has always had, and will always have, fabrication, intended deceitfulness, inadvertent error, and academic over-reach in what we see and hear.
Also, in our world things, as they should, change. Something that once was ‘true’(or ‘false’) might now actually be the opposite.
This means that we MUST learn to question, honestly and intellectually, anything (and maybe everything) we see, hear or are exposed for its truth and value.
On a personal level…questioning why we do things helps us to pick apart the usefulness of our (habitual) behaviors and clarify aspects of our life….and this is good. And…“If the shoe doesn’t fit…don’t be afraid to return it.” - RHKL
