"The Quest Within the Self"

"The Quest Within the Self"

In the realm where shadows blend,

And questions of the soul ascend,

How shall I, with eyes so wide,

Explore the depths where truths abide?

Do I see through lenses worn,

By wisdom of the minds adorned?

Books ,Scriptures, preconceived notions,

Their echoes weave through thoughts and claims.

Yet in the quiet, untouched space,

Can I behold my true embrace?

Without the taint of learned guise,

To pierce through veils and false disguise?

The self I seek, the core profound,

Where silent whispers are unbound,

Requires a gaze both clear and deep,

Beyond the surface thoughts that creep.

To know this self, to find its light,

In patterns of the dark and bright,

And to unravel all that binds,

The scaffolds of my thoughts and signs.

For in the knowing, clear and pure,

Lies a path that’s strong and sure,

Without this depth, all actions sway,

Lost in confusion, night, and fray.

So delve into this quest sincere,

Where shadows shift and truths appear,

To grasp the self, both broad and slight,

And in this knowing, find the light.

In the mirror of the soul's expanse,

Where answers wait in stillness’ dance,

Shall I discover who I am,

And trace the heart’s eternal plan.
